Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2009 Domus Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive! This year’s drive yielded in excess of 100 toys which were delivered directly to the U.S. Marine Corps for distribution to children in need — the attached photo is of but a few of the gifts collected. The agents who generously participated are too many to name and represent many of the brokerages throughout Silicon Valley. We’re looking forward to a successful year in 2010 that will provide many opportunities for the real estate community to give back to those in need.

The new dom.us user interface and home page.
The new dom.us is gearing up for an alpha launch. Our primary focus is to incorporate rich media into everyday home searching. Beyond the fabulous photos, we have incorporated several key features into the new dom.us including the ability to: search for properties (or agents); build a comparison matrix with a side-by-side feature view of each selected item; go directly to the property (or agent) micro-site where users will find a virtual tour, feature-rich media gallery, property documents and disclosures, and a complete mapping interface. dom.us is now at 99 Alamden Blvd in San Jose, California. We moved for several reasons, the most important: space! The second: bandwidth! We now have 100Mbps of bandwidth (for office use!) to the Internet and Gigs of bandwidth to our media servers.
However, the most important reason we moved was to accommodate our digital presses (for our print product) and our large farm of media processing servers. It takes a lot of room to process all of the media we create. This is where we do it.
